Greetings,
I read your article on bamboo and the followingcomment was made:
"Above are two more species that do not appreciate direct sun, either (same goes for most, but not all, dwarf bamboo species)"
Is there a dwarf variety that does well in direct full sun? We live in Encino CA 91436 with a southern exposure (full sun throughout the day and quite hot in the summer; no frost in the winter). We'd be happy with a clumper 10-20' tall that looks beautiful. Encino is Sunset Climate Zone 19.
Have considered Weaver's Dwarf and Gracilis (the latter may be a little taller than 20'). Used as a hedge
Thanks
Michael
