My Aloe plants were looking great then recently problems arose. One has black spots. The other has a reddish discoloration which appears to be damaging the leaves. Too much water? Not enough?
Aloe damage
No expert but my Aloes go a uniform red when under watered. Yours are a blotchy red so I'd suspect overwatering. Whilst in Greece not so long ago came across an abandoned Aloe farm, all the aloes were a uniform red, the sun and lack of water had obviously given them their reddish brown shade. None of them looked blotchy.
As stated no expert.

Aw, bummed to hear about your aloe plants hitting a rough patch! The black spots and reddish discoloration could be due to either soaking 'em too much or not giving 'em enough hydration. Finding that sweet watering balance is key.
