My neighbor gave me this Aloe…to save it. I repotted it….but have no idea what Aloe it is….the leaves all seem to curve downward…also seems to be only a stalk type plant (no plants from root).
Aloe species
It looks like an Aloe vera; it clearly has not been getting enough sun, so you should move it to a sunny spot at the window.
In winter watering should be at a minimum.
Eventually these Aloes can make side shoots/basal shoots.
I have one of these, but it doesn't do well because it doesn't get enough sun - but it still manages to grow.
I was in southern Florida in November and saw them growing in the ground. They were huge! Amazing plants if you live in a tropical environment.
