We had planted a lemon plant in the ground years ago and it's now about 5 feet tall. From a couple years the plant has stopped growing, doesn't produce much lemons and has very few leaves because the mango tree near it has grown too tall and is blocking the sunlight. The lemon plant gets only 2-3 hours of evening sun everyday. Can someone please tell me what i can do so that the plant starts growing again and start giving lemons.
The mango tree is too big so cutting the branches is very difficult as they are too thick and high above.
