I have elephant ears growing in a large pot. While the soil level has gone down, the plants have grown taller producing trunk like growth. Must I lift out the plants in order to add soil, OR can I just add more soil into the pot without hurting the plants?
Elephant ears question
Why not both; lift it and put a little bit of soil underneath and on the sides, and then add a bit on top.
Large pot, large undertaking to remove plants, large mess. Was hoping to be able to just add more soil, but know that some plants do not like to be buried. Wanted to know under which category elephant ears fall.
