My name is Truus and I'm one crazy gal from the Netherlands.
I love to get my hands filthy and every moment I have to spare, you can find me in the garden.
I recently started growing some tomatoes, peppers and salad as I always wanted to and said to myself why not.
The tomato plants and salad were started from seed and they all looked pretty good. Untill now that is! I'm growing some "Hildares" tomatoes and the top leaves and buds are all curling like crazy and have a fern like shape.
Some have some purple coloring as well.
So I went searching on the internet and found this lovely site.
I don't have a clue what's going on. Some have flowers while others don't.
There was also a green grashopper on one of them.
I also see these little yellowish spots on some leaves.
For maintenance:
I have removed the suckers since they grew bigger. Furthermore removed leaves that were damaged by some insects by pruning them. I water them from beneith and give them some tomato fertillizer every week.
Perhaps important to mention. It's been a very dry period followed by cold and rainy weather. I also held them under a tunnel for protection...
