Hi there, new to the forums and i'm finding some great info already. I'm looking to start a small farm busines in 2023 or 2024. It will be a silvopasture type of operation. I'll have about 70 acres to work with total. It is a mix of hardwoods, sedge grass type meadow, dry pasture, semi wet pasture, and some wet area with creeks. I'm looking to plant some apple and fruit trees in both the dry and wet pastures. But from my research, it seems like the majority of fruit trees dont like a wetter soil. I've found a few articles that mention fuji and gala apples not minding wet soils, but then other articles say the complete opposite. any help would be greatly appreciated.
