I don't think it's bacterial canker since the plant is still alive, but for a few weeks my Black Cherry tomatoes have been getting these spots when ripe. Any ideas on cause and prevention?
What are these spots on my tomatoes?
They are scarring from where insects, most likely stink bugs, pierced the skin at an earlier time. This is more commonly seen as the season progresses and their numbers increase without control.
