20º this morning, sunny.
Rest of the week supposed to be 40's, then 50's on Sunday.
Worked in the Sunday, got a lot done. Some cabinets glued up.

Been distracted, hit 70* today, sunny. Decided if I was going to have a backache it wasn't going to be from doing nothing. Dragged my big pots down to an unsplit faucett( both in my garden split) and washed out those pots. Think I will TRY sweet taters this year, hopefully it won't be too wet, 😑 my dirt is so wet, and cold now after the snow. Slow start to years beginning.
Well You can't go by the weather people's outlook, they said winter was going to be mild, and even S. FL had iguanas falling out of trees.

Up here it was mild with almost no snow.

My Aunt Phurby's orchids are blooming, she's been gone for about 9 years but her orchids live on.
Kite flying day, 69* 12 mph ne breeze and lots of sunshine. Out in the garden getting plants put in the ground, will have to protect them if the next freeze ever shows up, but I am prepared.
Moved things to the greenhouse Friday & Saturday.
Calls for nice weather, so not to worried about cold. The furnace will keep up.
Low overnight was 36º. Suns up, at 8 AM, 40º, going for 60º.

64/88/65 Each day a bit warmer, but humidity so low doesn't feel that hot, tomorrow and next day up to 90, then another cool front. Hope it brings rain, we need it, my two barrels are getting really low.
Euphorbia geroldii, Thornless Crown of Thorns hasn't frosted back in two years, really getting tall now. Huge begonia is blooming, leaves are 10-12 inches wide.

Well the winds were high here, but the rain completely fizzled out by the time the cool front got to us, so sad. It's cooler this morning, but not by much, high 75F low tonight 55.
Mid 40's here at night, not much above 60* daytime, those March winds are tearing thru here and should be taking winter away. Plants appear to be loving the temps tho, I had to mow yesterday.
