Hang in there Kitt, pretty snow though. Pipe...ugh. Believe it or not, we've been cold enough here to have ice come out of our faucets a time or two.
Buds are coming out on the oaks now, flowers on the Cherry Laurels and other trees, so Spring is coming, once the Cypress start buds, then you know it's Spring.
64F and sunny morning, poured rain during the night, the first cool front, only up to 72F today, mid 50's tonight.
Backyard wildlife...
Only went down to -20º overnight. Now+6º
Supposed to be warmer in the morning than what it is when we go to bed tonight.
Big warm up coming, high 30' shortly.

early morning teens have climbed to 24*, faucetts still dripping. winds are quiet, rolling brownouts quit at 10 pm and sun is out and right. I EXPECT Indiana to be below 32* Ju. I thought I was retiring to the tropics here, chuckl

You have a lot more snow than us.
Fields are nearly bare. One day of 35º with sun will clear fields.
2nd round of northers was supposed to come in about midnight, but the night stayed dry and still. Our area lost a well yesterday and consensus is it cannot be fixed for next 5 days. A centrifugal housing shattered as well. We have super low water pressure. Daughter headed south to Cypress for work. About 0730/0800 the lo slow rain started. 32* and snow is slush with running rivulets starting to form large puddles. We had rolling brownouts again last night, I reset about 5 lost hours on the plant timers. Fed birds and really wet squirrels, and took note of the frosty icy tree branches. Shoes and jacket are drip drying. My fingers didn't hurt as bad as last 3 days when I returned, but I didn't have to stay out as long.

I had two of those masked raiders on my front porch the other night, caught on our Ring video.
Well, Ju you sure have a lot of snow this year, and I still like all the pictures.
Kitt, I have quite a few TX Facebook friends and they're having all kinds of issues, mostly water and freezing from the blackouts.
Warm 88° at 3:35p sunny, to partly cloudy. Rain tomorrow, a cold front, but only down to 48F not as cold as they thought. Weekend looks great.
33* feels like 23*, winds have dropped to 13mph so far and still coming from the north. I have 3 raiders in the backyard, and about 6 in the front. They at least stayed clear til the other birds had worked all day on the seeds. Still, I have one raider wrapped around my steel bird feeder shaking it hard.
It snowed another 3 inches this morning . made into the 20''s for a temperature ,
I got the car out and did a milk run , 15 degrees or so for tonight ,

Got one good line of rain yesterday, then some misty stuff later evening. 50 and Sunny this morn, up to 67F.
Nice day yesterday.
Went to St. Paul to pick up potting soil for the greenhouse.
Dry roads all the way.
This morning -5º sunny.
Heading to finish the big cabinet job.
Then on to Menards to pick up plywood for the next 2 jobs.

High of 62* today and sun and breezes, lo of 44* tonight. I pulled the frost cloths fully off (it was 31* at sunup this morn) cleaned up some of the mush, and expect roots were protected enough I may have more plants recover yet.
Plants are resilient, I've seen my whole garden mush, but most come back...I always say, it's mother natures way of giving the garden a good trimming. Nice load CG. Sprouts looking good Ju.

It's 27º according to the computer weather. Don't know where that comes from. Also says wind chill is 20º. I just came in from the shop, thins are melting, felt like 35º to me. Weathermen never go out, just sit their office a run temp + wind to get feels like. Sad they get paid!
Weather people been so off here in FL this winter, that's why I have my own gauges.

It's starting to feel like Spring is just around the corner. Dogs are spending more time outdoors. I have been cleaning up the yard. Enjoying the longer daylight hours.

Gonna be a Hot weekend here, record high temps, upper 80's for next 3 days, no rain expected. Normal is around mid 70's.

Radar shows rain/snow is gone by. Shows no past moisture.
