I am needing help on how to use a systemic drench for succulents and my ceropegia's from meallybugs, aphids and spider mites indoor and out i am finding them at roots and stem/leaves....
I have used all the normal methods and my last resort is pure neem oil or systemic drench to help keep those juice sucking bugs away.....
I have used a neem oil mix and burned all my succulents from Organic Garden Safe recently so I just bought the two products ferti-lome tree and shrub drench as well as horticulture neem oil not sure brand?!?
So if anyone has had any luck w Cropegia Woodi Variegated, Silver Glory or the common version of string of hearts (heart shape not dagger) PLEASE HELP ME ASAP
I added some picture of the roots that have root meals and looking for a systemic that is dental enough for the ceropegia and succulents!

Need help w succulents and ceropegia woodi varieties
I don’t use systemics, or anything like a true pesticide…I use insecticidal soap. I had a mealy bug issue this past year, those little things were on everything, and it was fall so I was watering a lot less and didn’t notice until it was really obvious. I buy insecticidal soap and just spray the heck out of everything, making sure to drench everything inch of the plant, at least weekly, until they are gone. Have to check under pot rims too. The plants that were really infested, I cut them back. Even then, you have to keep a sharp eye out, because it seems you can never get them all.
Strangely enough, I didn’t get any mealy bugs on my string of hearts….even though it was in the same area as the infested plants.

With all due respect, I completely disagree with Geslina; soaps and neem will burn many types of succulents, and more importantly, they will not affect the mealy bugs living on the roots, so the bugs will just keep on coming back from the underground population.
I have used the imidocloprid-based systemics on succulents for the past 17 years with few ill effects. Currently, the one I use is called “BioAdvanced Tree and Shrub”, and it is used at the rate of 1 oz. per gallon. Treat once, and then again in one month. This knocks out mealies and scale.
This will not affect spider mites, sadly. I use a different spray for them, but that is not available retail. BioAdvanced also makes one for mites called “Insect, Disease and Mite” - it should be available nationally.
