Spots on Euphorbias and a sad hebe

plymouth, United Kingdom

Hi, I bought 2 euphorbias this year, Ascot Rainbow and Glacier Blue. Both really lovely all summer but now seem to be developing brown spots in quite some number! What should I do, if anything? Between the 2 I have a hebe that is suffering terribly but I don't know from what?

Thanks in advance

Hi Shinysun!

Are your plants in a place very exposed to the sun? It occurs to me that the sun may have made these spots, if so try to place them in a place with some semi-shade.

If the sun is not the culprit they may be fungi, some type of rust due to the humidity of the environment. Is it very wet where you live?

On the other hand and looking at the images, maybe a pruning of these plants could not hurt (especially your sad hebe). I am not an expert in pruning but I look for this article on how to care for and prune hebe plants that could be useful for you.

Has it been very damp where you are? I am thinking fungus.

Here is an article in leaf spots.

Does it look like the leaf below?

Hi there, thanks for replies! It hasn't been very wet at all, that'll be the next 6 months! I will check the articles but I guess they might not like the coming winter. They are in a quite sunny spot.
