84* feels like 89*, 65% humidity and a 60% chance of rain. I heard the growling, felt 2 drops of rain, shake my head, hope there is more. Supposed to be a 13 mph SE breeze out there but it is very still right now. The sun and clouds are taking turns today.

we had 74 degrees and rain showers , still sprinkles after dark and 61 degrees

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Rain showers predicted today, but sunny and breezy 74F this morn, up to 86. Strong east winds 10-20mph, Some kind of tropical disturbance over Bahamas, moving this way, gonna give us the rain next two days. We can use the rain.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

The power went out 10 minutes before the rain hit, temp dropped from 75* to 64* tween 0530 and 0730, chuckle. Heading for 85* and SUPPOSED to be more rain today. Winds changed directions and have now fallen quiet. 100 % humidity awhile longer. Petunias will recover and the hummingbirds come up to me when I shook water off the feeders

Winds fooled weather forecasters yesterday, changed from E to WSW and blew the rain off the coast....so I got my house pressure washed, one heavy afternoon downpour but I was done.
Now to get painting done early before afternoon rain. Today high 89F, sunny and clear now.

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

Cold , rainy , cloudy 54 degrees

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

81* high today, ground is saturated, water went down really well. Beautiful day here today after the 1/2" rain last night on top of all the other.

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Didn't get to paint yesterday, heavy rains early, not cold at all though, upper 80's, looks like more today, 90% chance by noon. So guess I'll go visit my Pop today, tomorrow supposed to be nice as the rain moves on...hopefully I can get to painting.

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Sounds nice Ju.
We've had a good three days of no rain, dryer conditions, and so I've been getting a lot of house painting done. It gets up to about 85 by four PM and then starts to drop, and so do I...LOL.
Today about a 40% chance of rain, cloudy already, so maybe I'll take a break.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Day started out foggy til maybe 11am. 76* with 150% humidity. I squeegeed the windows and they fogged back up. 76* feels like a hot heavy wet blanket at 100*. 1/4" rain last nite.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Rain, another 4" an hour gully washers. 1 hour east of me is being hammered again, 1 or 2 hours NE of me has 2" hail. Creeks are out here again, thunder and lightning sounded like a tree was hit REALLY close and all the animals scrambled to the dark side of the house. Dog had 1 and a half zanax and a bowl of water so he wasn't climbing out of his skin until that crack, kids got wet parking the cars on higher ground for the night. Hope folks I know are all ok

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

62* rain totalled 5", creeks drained well, I am cold. Soggy yard. Won't get above 65* I think was forecast

Warms up to 70 today , nights are warmer all this week coming ,,sunny this morning and starting at 44 degrees ,,

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Brrrr, Joe. Another 80's type day, mowing done- as much as is dry enough to mow, anyway. It will help it dry up better being mowed. Stained the last bed panels, gotta let em dry for 2 days as I used mineral spirits to keep the stain even on the dry wood. This one looks better than those thickly painted ones. First coat of paint on the refurbished 4"x4" pole. Chuckl, my daughter said she had thought I was going to use a different paint, then laughed at me when I told her I still had lots of ideas on the paint. Best way I knew to get her to quit pestering me too soon. Still have grass to clean from the ground in the garden. Had to stomp a huge leaffootted bug on my tabasco peppers. Those big boys have tough outer shells, I always think I am grabbing a goathead sticker. OOOps, wrong thread. sorry guys

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)
