Hi!
We need a really importanter advice: a friend of mine has about 30 plants of Berneris thumbergii who are undergoing a real infestation of larvae of Arge berberidis. The larvae are everywhere on the plants and are literally defoliating them.
It should proceed with pyrethroid insecticides, but now has most of the plants in bloom, overflowing with bumblebees and wasps and is veramenter worried about the consequences of the treatments.
Is there a solution that can eliminate the problem without damaging pollinating plants and insects?
Thanks in advance for your help !!!
