Lacy damage with eggs on sweet potato vine

Raleigh, NC

Hi, what is eating my SP vine? It appears to be laying eggs. Coleus and NG impatiens appear untouched. Thanks.

It might be the larva of sweet potato loopers that you can find in the back of the leaves.
This is usually Cabbage looper (Trichoplusia ni) that while preferring the Crucifers also attacks soybean, sweet potato, peanut, cotton, tomato.......
