It got up to 90F yesterday. They are calling for a high of 85F today so it will get to at least 87F. (Anything over 86F is stressful to plants. See 'Heat Zone Gardening,' but good luck finding a map you can read online. I have the book. I'm in Heat Zone 9, which is 120-150 days above 86F. I would have sworn it was more like 270.) Altogether, we got 7.13 inches of rain since last July. That is less than half of average, if average means anything anymore.

On Fixer Upper, Chip and Joannas farm is named Magnolia Farms, their business is named Magnolia something, and when they bought the silos for tuning into a donut shop, they became Magnolia Silos. Originally their business started by buying a property, living in it til it was finished, then selling it and buying/moving into another. Texas folks do that a lot. At least until they lose interest. There is SO much work into that cleaning and stripping, permits, codes, and the whole thing that some folks just don't understand.
