I am not a purist but.....

I make such a mess of the lights on my tree. I looked at the trees in the stores that come prelit and they look so neat and tidy. None of those wires hanging everywhere!! I have tried to emulate the professionals but to no avail. I must have spent 2 hours attempting this and was completely done in. I went up and down the same branch, back to the trunk and on to the next branch but still found it tough going. Then just when I thought it would have to do, the tree started toppling over. So it took the better half of a day to decorate it and really it doesn't look half bad now. Ah well...(sigh) a perfectionist I will never be!!
