Can anyone help me ID this tree in my backyard? I’m interested in planting more. Thanks
ID this Tree Please
Might be a Norfolk Island Pine. I can't tell from the photos. Can you get one closer?
Thanks! I'll take a closer picture today or tomorrow. Just got hit with a snow storm so may have to wait for the snow to melt.
Hello there Cville is correct about the pictures but based on the snow fall, deciduous trees in the background, it is very unlikely that it is a araucaria heterophylla- Norfolk Island pine is a house plant in New York. Could be a nordmann fir, Japanese white pine, or a yew with thinning foliage- pictures are worth a thousand words!
Looks most like a fir to me, but needs those close-up pics. Get pics of both the upper side of a shoot, and the under side, please.
I can't see any cones, but if there are any, get pics of those too.

Thanks Everyone! Snow has finally melted in New York, so I'll get updated photographs this weekend.
