Hello everyone, Can anyone tell me what this plant is called? It showed up in a pot and I have no idea what is is. cll

I like it. I don't know what it is. Are the leaves cylindrical or flat? Is there a bulb? I'd keep it.

helenchild, The leaves are cylindrical and about 3 inches long. I'm wondering if it's some kind of crassula. I had a plant years ago that was somewhat similar. It wasn't planted in that pot though. Totally baffled. cll

It looks like Talinum teretifolium (syn. Phemeranthus teretifolius) to me..but you will need the flower to be sure. The flower tells all...but you might have to be patient. If you give it good light that will really make a difference. Good luck
