What happened to these peppers?

One day these peppers were plump & healthy looking and the next day, withered. What could have happened? I do not get HOT weather here.

You might want to try posting on the veggie form. It gets a lot more traffic. Sorry, that's the only help I can give you, I don't know why the peppers did that.
