What makes tomatoes fall from the plant when they are green?
falling green tomatoes
without any photos all i can say is that it could be a great many of things, from plant stress such as too much heat or too little water, to other physical problems such as maybe critters biting them off, or perhaps the fruits getting too heavy for the plant?
some of the falling tomatoes are large & some small. I do not receive hot weather in Berkeley. The tomatoes are on a 3 day water soaker system. I have 15 plants and the falling tomatoes are only on 2 plants.
Thanks for further replies.
