Pine Tree needles turning brown and falling

California City, CA

My pine tree is 8 years old. I notice today that needles were turning brown and falling off. Never had this happen before so I'm not sure what to do. You help would be very helpful. Thank You

If it is a white pine, this is normal. It happened to my client last year and I researched it. White pines shed a large number of their needles every three to four years. It's a normal, healthy process. If it is a white pine, and I hope it is, you have absolutely nothing to worry about, except how to remove all the blasted needles (I used a rake, and wow, there were piles of them)
