Thanks ladies. It almost felt like summer here, we had heavy rain with wind, thunder and lightning!
Beautiful bloom Linda of your brug.
Pretty bloom of mg Jackie.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

It's gray and cloudy here and a bit chilly. Jackie, I don't see ads here because I turned them off earlier. Looks like the technical is getting better here.
keep posting pics!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Debra, this is the 1st time I';ve got the ads, just since the new format. so didn't
realize I had ads turned on. I'll see if I can fix it,.
Helena, thanks I was in a hurry to get a new thread so didn;t have time to look for a good pic We had rain and high winds but no threatening weather for which
I'm thankful..
Debra, my homepage still shows the mg forum's last post was on Dec 8, so 'that's not fixed yet.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks for the new thread.

Gautier, MS

I wish that they would fix it, since it shows that I'm the one that posted last on Dec. 8.

Still raining here, starting to flood some roads.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

You're welcome Linda.
I told Terry about the wrong date so hopefully they're working on it.I
don;t know if the other forum dates (last post) are off

Gautier, MS

Not fixed yet.

Wishing everyone A Merry Christmas!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Merry Christmas everyone
Pretty day here today, feels like 65 or so.
Christmas day starts 4 days of rain and by Monday nite, we could have over 6 inches of rain and some places almost 8 inches. I hope they';ve missed it again.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Merry Christmas everyone.

I hope you don't get all that rain.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Linda, I think our weatherman gets carried away. The later weather person
said 3 to 4 inches. I like his numbers better but hoping for less.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Hope everyone had a great Christmas

I see we hve a back to post link now to take us back to most recent, yea!!!

Gautier, MS

Pretty pictures Jackie! I'm glad we have the "back" too!

Christmas at my oldest son yesterday, first thing I noticed the wild Ip indica blooming at his abandoned neighbors house across the street! I noticed too that one of my pots I left some seeds on the vine, the pink rambler, with all the rain we had they were sprouting! Took them off and dropped them in 2 pots. The weather here is still warm, they think its spring!

Nice indica pic Helena. Mine didn;t even bother to bloom this yr,
Very warm here today, almost 80. Looks like'my pecan trees
have put out new lvs because of the warm temps. .

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

It was warm here till this morning. Winds coming from the north, and high of today is 43.

Beautiful pictures everyone!

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.

Not going to complain, still warm here. Cool weather is probably coming, but I was greeted with a bloom from wild indica up high and another down low. It is sending runners all over the back yard. Still having lots of blooms, the roses are happy from the rain too!

Our warm temps coming to an end with temps falling all day here. Makes me sad,
I really enjoyed the unseasonably warm temps.
Beautiful blooms Helena. Gorgeous color on your Rose.
Is the last pic the lovely Blue Pea vine?
I can only see that its blue.

Gautier, MS

Jackie thanks. We are still using the air conditioning, is humid here.
That last picture is of my salvia Mexicana. Kind of wish we wouldn't get frost here, frost will make the plants to start over again.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

We had our ac on yesterday and last night, over 80 yesterday
A lovely collection of Salvias you've acquired Helena.
Prayers for the families in Texas and Ms that lost loved ones in the horrible deadly storms. We've had 1 fatality here from a fallen tree that went thru the roof and'claimed a victim.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie. It's really sad time for the families,my prayers are for them too.
Watched the weather channel last night with all the bad weather going on and still coming. We are getting more rain here this morning.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Praying for an end to this.deadly weather Helena..

I would like to plant some tropical sds.before
they get too old to germinate,

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Helena, those are beautiful flowers.

I still have a few roses in bloom, but probably not after the cold temps and wind yesterday and today.

Gautier, MS

Hope you get to sow some tropical seeds too Jackie. I have some in a container sprouted, now just have to transplant them into individual pots before it's too late.

Linda it got a bit cold here last night but I don't think cold enough to do any damage yet.

I took a pic of my passion flower blooming the other day and didn't even realize that the bumblebee was on it!

Love your pic Helena.
I've probably let my sds get too old. All these yrs I've been collecting rare
sds, I should have been sowing, not saving. . Oh well, I;ve still got lots to pick from,
hopefully some are still good.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Awesome shot Helena!

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
I've wasted too many seeds in my life, bought seeds and didn't get around to sowing them from time to time.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Hope you get some nice plants from your sds Helena.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie. I hope so too! We are getting heavy rain showers here this early morning.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I;m very thankful that's it's not raining here Helena so we can dry out some. No sun here for days.

Beautiful blooms Jackie, what is the 2nd pic?

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Linda, thats a Plumeria tree.. I have 8 of these but this is the only one
thats ever bloomed for me. I;ve repotted most of them and hoping I get
more of them blooming this coming yr, They like sun and fertilizer. I fed all
of them this past summer but that still did not get me any blooms.:-(
When the one pictured set buds, it was in March or April (greenhouse) and took a couple of months for the buds to show color and bloom.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

That is so pretty. I sure hope they all bloom for you.

Gautier, MS

Beautiful blooms Jackie! I'm glad it finally bloomed for you and hope the others will too. I had a salvia that I bought "Mr. Jules" that took forever to bloom, I didn't know that it was going to be a winter bloomer for me!
It feels pretty cold this morning here, glad it stopped raining for you Jackie. It would be nice to see the sun come out here too, so far it's gray skies.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Wishing all of a you a very Happy New Year!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda and Helena. I have 4 that are good sized, tall but not
pretty and full. If those 4 bloom would be so exciting.. Everywhere they
bloom, they branch, making a fuller shape.
Only 37 here this morning even at 11 am. At least the sun is trying to break thru.
Hope you get sun today too Helena.,

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

well gosh.. I missed it all! I was lost, but found my way back to you. Happy New Years!
( guess I better check my saved pages folder)
love all the beautiful photos.

Gautier, MS

Glad you found us again Debra!

Happy New Year Linda, Jackie, and Debra!!!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena. Happy New Year to
all of you,. Praying for a better year with less violence
in 2016.

Pandy covering the fence in 2014 b4 the virus showed up.
All over the ground too.
Beautiful Pres Bush, perhaps my all time favorite

Beautiful Jackie!

I was wondering if the area where you grow Pres Bush and others vines are under your patio? Does it keep them from getting rained on? That's my problem with the leaves turning ugly.
