I just received 4 roses ordered this fall expecting a spring shipment. These are roses in gallon pots, not bare root.. Can I hold them until spring to plant outside? If so do you have suggestions for me to ensure survival througout the winter, say on a protected porch or in a garage? Thank you for any help you can give me.
mail order roses just received
The Olympic Rose Society says around here roses in pots can be planted anytime of the year! Here is a link to their planting instructions.

Thank you so much for the info. I just wasn't prepared to plant at this time. This gives me the extra time I need right now.
