Opinions please . . . Best seedless watermelon variety?

Chuckey, TN(Zone 6b)

For the past three years I have been growing Sugar Baby watermelon, which we love. I store the excess in the freezer to enjoy all year by removing the rind, deseeding, cutting into chunks, and freezing on a cookie sheet. I then place the frozen chunks in gallon sized bags and freeze until we get around to eating it. I do this will all my melon but seeding watermelon is a messy job and takes days when you have 15-20 melon to prepare. Just wondering if you can suggest a seedless variety with wonderful flavor for next garden season?

I am not a fan of triploid seedless watermelons, so I have only grown Sweet Slice and Ultra Kool. I have eaten others from the market but the texture is not as melting as seeded varieties. That said , since you are already familiar with Sugar Baby, I would suggest one of the Sugar Baby types like Triple Baby, Lamar, Sweet Gem...

Don't you have to have a seeded variety to aid in pollination?

Yes and most seedless varieties come with a pollinator seed which is often the sugar baby watermelon.
