Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

This aloe was in Home Depot with the label Aloe Apached
I can't find anything with that name, even checked Apache in case misspelled.
It looks just like my soap aloe but very deep green color with red teeth, you can see the color difference in last photo with it in front of my soap aloe plants.

I think this is probably just a very dark green Aloe maculata. Soap aloe.☺

Hi Sunkissed, the spotted Aloes are all very similar so without a flower very hard to definitely identify, sometimes even with a flower it is still difficult. Could be a Soap Aloe, or a hybrid thereof.

I agree that the name would appear to be misspelled. The name would imply a hybrid or a cultivar of a true species.

Thanks, with aloes in FL it is hard to know which can take rain or not. My soap aloes do just fine with all our rainfall, some in good sun and some in shade. I'm not sure where to put this one, for now being our very rainy season I'm keeping it under cover, gets very early morning and afternoon sun. Sure is a nice looking one, whatever it is ☺
