Hi,
Starting to get my stuff together for this next year and was wondering about recommendations by the seed manufacturer regarding plug size. I will be trying New Guinea Impatiens Divine next year and am finding this
Sowing
The recommended plug sizes are 288 to 128-cell.
Is there a specific reasoning behind the small cell plug? I usually use a 72 cause I dont need that many plants, but am very curious about why the smaller one. Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks.
question about recommended plug size from seed manufacturer
To maximize the production for commercial sales, I would assume... to produce more plants (to be potted on into larger pots for bedding plant sales) in the minimum space.
