Hi Friends,
I'm new to DG and new to propagation and germination as well. My Mammillaria plumosa put off these little berry looking things that were full of seeds. My first question is, are these the seeds I need to plant a new mammi, or do I need the seeds from when the cactus flowers. Also if anyone has tips on how to actually germinate the seeds for these plants. I'm not sure if they require soaking or just get put into soil etc. I have found very limited information on this species.
I have loved reading all the forums and post on DG! Glad I found it.
Thanks in advance for your advice

welcome!
If nobody answers this question here, try the Cacti and Succulents forum, they are pretty active over there, and some of them seem to grow from seed. I don't see them on this forum though.
