ID Please

OC, CA & Twin Lakes , IA(Zone 4b)

This tomato plant was purchased at the Farmers' Market with the
ID of "Black Krim" . . . . NOT!

They are about 2X the size of a cherry tomato, maybe 3" accross.

They are turning purple & hard right now. They don't start turning from the blossom end like most tomatoes, but from the side.

you actually have what is referred to as one of the "blue tomato" varieties, and those in your photo, are actually completely unripe, a ripening tomato would have those green sections turning either red or pink, even yellow in some varieties. The dark purple-blue coloring that is on them now is coming from a reaction to the sunlight, the parts that are green were shaded from the sun, its an extra batch of antioxidants that were bred into the tomato.
