Hope my plant lives long enough .

Dahlonega, GA

The leaves on my tomatoes are dying from the bottom and getting higher . I hope the plants live long enough to get the many tomatoes ripe enough to harvest . Any ideas ? What can I do in the future ? Gave them epsom salts when planted and haven't had any pest problem so far this year .

usually means theres a problem down at the roots. Some lower leaf wilt is normal, but for it to be climbing up the plant means something is wrong. when you say "dying", do they just turn yellow, or do they go brown and crisp up, or do they get spots on them? A photo would be the best if you can.

I am having the same problem with one of my plants. Turns brown and crisp. Seems to happen every year.

My first guess would be Spider Mites, the plants just appear to be drying up. If you see webbing that's a dead give away.

I always dust with sevin dust but we were having rain so often it just kept it washed off.

SMs thrive in hot, dry, dusty conditions so that doesn't right for you.
