Do Armenian Cucumbers grow slowly? My Armenian is growing very slowly. I do not know if I should just give up on it. This is it's size now compared to the Crystal Apple cucumber which was planted at the same time.
Armenian Cucumber
Armenian cucumber is actually a melon (C. melo). We're just starting to get the heat melons need, so my guess is that your plants are fine and just need more time.
That explains it, my melon plants are about the same size as the Armenian cucumber. That also explains why these get so large.
I have found that they are slower to become established, but once they get going-WOW! I had dozens last year and just love them. This year they are doing well so far.
