Didn't vote at all on this one as the only one I ever heard of (and actually visited) was Kew Gardens. It was pretty neat and I can't say that I really care whether or not it's a World Heritage Site (though it probably is).

Never heard of this place, was intrigued. 3000 years old! How fun I'd b to visit and stop by the tourist kiosk to gorge on dates (until the inside of my mouth sore from eating them)

Are any gardens in North America on the UNESCO World Heritage List? I knew that the New York Botanical Gardens weren't on the list. I've never heard of most of the places listed. Time to do some research. :-)
