"THINK SPRING!" seed swap HAVES & WANTS

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

You found the thread for "HAVE" and "WANT" lists!

Although it's not necessary for participation, some folks find it helpful to list the seeds they have available for the swap as well as what they're looking for.

Please post only ONCE on this thread, and then edit your post as needed.

It's harder to find the HAVE/WANT lists if there are lots of other posts on this thread, so please post seed requests, questions, and other discussion on the seed swap DISCUSSION thread, here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1384144/#new

Info & sign up thread is here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1384143/

Critter's Seed Lists

Have:

lots and lots and lots of things! please post if there's ANYTHING you're looking for... if I have it, I will share it. :-) This is the time of year when my seed stash is most organized... so this is my best chance of finding seeds people might want!

Note re. TOMATOES & PEPPERS
If there's anything you're looking for, generally or specifically, please ask so I can set it aside for you. I've just been growing a few favorites in recent years, so I'm going to bring my binders with older seeds for anybody who wants to try something different. Take what you want, either partial packs or whatever remains. Since germination % may have started dropping on some, take at least 6 seeds, and pre-soak them (especially pepper seeds) or start on damp paper towel in a baggie.

Antirrhinum majus (snapdragon) mix (2012, Catoctin Orchard) includes hot & baby pinks, peach, soft yellow

Asclepias 'Silky Deep Red' tropical milkweed (Hazzards 2014): Holly, Coleup

3 Signet Marigold 'Lemon Gem' (Franchi 2010)

3 Tomato 'Boy Oh Boy' (Hazzard's 2015) f1 hybrid seeds, round red beefsteak, supposedly resistant to blights, better than average performer in heat/humidity -- Holly for Hort Therapy

3 Tomato 'San Marzano' (2014) insanely productive red "fingerling" paster. Indeterminate. OP

6 Tomato "Carnival Bruschetta Mix" (2009) best performers in my garden, mix of colors & types. All OP. Tomato seeds are usually good for at least 5 years.

4 Pepper 'Sweet Pickles' (2012) Cute compact plants with delicious small peppers for fresh eating or (of course) pickling. Heirloom -- Holly for Hort Therapy

4 Pepper 'Aleppo' (2013) Wonderful variety from Serbia, a little less heat than Cayenne with a citrus kick to the flavor. Not commercially available.

6 Pepper 'Fish' heirloom from the Chesapeake Bay area, cute little plants with variegated foliage, delicious medium-hot peppers

Pumpkin, Joyanna's EZ Clean Jack o'Lantern (2014) thick walls, few guts

WANTS

Joyanna's favorite color is pink; mine is purple. We already have a lot to start inside this year, so I'm more interested in things I can winter sow or direct sow... either perennials (those that often "volunteer" are good candidates for starting outside) or reseeding annuals. I have both sun and partial to mostly shade and am especially interested in adding natives and other wildlife-friendly plants, particularly nectar & host plants for butterflies.

Reminders:
WW looking for pipevine (Arist. tomentosa)
PAY Sally for suet blocks ($6 for 2?)
PAY Gita for stakes ($4 for 2 sets)
PAY Sally for lunch
bring game, goodie bags, gift table items, misc. seeds, seed box, Joyanna's seeds, seed binders?

print bee cards for Coleup
Pickling cuke seeds for Gita
