I have several of these plants.
- Chelone "Hotlips" (love those dark shiny leaves)
- Chelone "Ieniemienie" (more compact and flowers much earlier in the summer)
And the one pictured below is I think
- Chelone "lyonii"
It is located in lots of shade and is looking good this late summer.

Thanks. I'm going to have to look for that other chelone you mentioned - Chelone "Ieniemienie". It would like more, especially with a different bloom time than the ones I have.
Yours look much more full than mine. Must be that I don't provide enough supplemental water.
'happy', I attribute the fullness of mine to its maturity (it gets no supplementary water). In the first two seasons it was much scrawnier. This year it has very much filled out.
