This year my new Nicotiana plants have become a food source for moths and hopefully butterflies.
I would love to know if anyone can ID this tiny green egg on my Nicotiana leaves. I do hope that's a butterfly not moth. I eggs I saw on these leaves before were whitish cream color. The caterpillars lately have not only eaten the leaves but are going for the buds and flowers too.
Green crystal clear eggs
I could possibly be tobacco horn worm; a moth.
Thanks for the ID. It wouldn't be too bad if they just not chew off the flowers and buds.
