With all this wonderful 'tropical moisture' hanging around in So Cal - some strange things are growing!
I've turned off my drip system yesterday. This weirdness is growing under my Cham. Macrocarpa in the back yard, and only in this spot. Needless to say I'm going to kill it. It's just too weird.
Looks like the fruiting bodies of a fungus. I'd say the spores have already gone. Probably nothing to worry about if the palm looks okay. Fungi are a natural part of the soil.
