Don't know if any of you caught my post about me starting my delphinium seeds last April. The hoops I had to jump through before I even put them in their starting soil. Very little germination, under grow light for months!
Oh wait, I'm not thru, diligently checking on them pretty much everyday, Harding them off, transplanted into individual containers, now the freakin things are drying up & dying!!!!!!!
Do I sound mad, OH NO, I'm furious!!!!!
Next Spring I'm heading over to the garden center to get my delphiniums!!!!! U got that right!!
FORGET IT!!
Aaaaaaaagh.
I totally feel your pain.
Missed your original post but sad you got so frustrated after so much work. I can relate and seeds are a challenge for me. I just read this year about winter sowing and am going to try it....Have you considered this as an alternative way to start your delphiniums?
Here is an excellent germination data base that I use.
