I planted 'Midnight Marvel' last year and was blown away by how beautiful the plant was. This year it came back (despite the polar vortex) bigger and better. However, I have now lost 3 stalks and am in fear of losing the whole plant. The stems appear fine one day, then they seem to wilt or die back starting with the top leaves and working its way down the stem. I'm not sure what's causing the die back. The rest of the plant appears healthy, no holes or pests that I can see. Any help would be appreciated!
Rose mallow wilting?
It's possible that it needs to be divided. Are the dying stalks toward the middle of the plant?
