Can\'t remember the name of this plant . . .

Granite City, IL(Zone 6a)

Hello. A friend posted a plant she doesn't know the variety of & asked me if I knew. I 'used' to know it but it's been so long that sadly I can't remember. I want to say it's a variety of peperomia but I'm really not sure. It also looks as if it 'might' get a pinkish border on the leaves but again.. maybe not. I hope this photo is clear enough for someone to I.D. it. She'll be so happy knowing it's name. Thanks SO much in advance!

The only plant that came to my mind was a mirror plant. Total guess. There are different cultivars so not sure which one but would start with Coprosma repens 'Marble Queen'.

Are the leaves very shiny?

It looks a bit like one of the Plectranthus, or possibly an oregano.

Thank you both! My friend called the store she bought it from and they said it's 'English Thyme'. Since the leaves do seem to be 'soft' and not shiny it is probably an herb (not to say herb leaves can't be shiny). But thank you both for taking time to try and help.
