I thought my orchids, which had been banished to the outside, had cleared up from the spider mites. I've now found them on my leafy green house plants. I'm afraid I'm going to lose everything. What do you guys use on houseplants to kill the nasty things? It's a hot time of the year to start start putting houseplants outside. Help
please!

Spider mites
they can't survive in a humid environment but in order to really do it properly, you need to move them to an area where you can mist them every single day for at least a week or so. since houseplants are usually more tender to sun, wind, outdoor conditions, keep them shaded if possible and don't soak the pots, just keep misting the plant itself. if you have a hose nozzle with a mist setting, that's the best. spider mites thrive in hot, dry, windy conditions.
this is the safest, most organic way to banish them.
