I bought a Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar from Lowe's today. I have a huge plant pot that probably holds around 100 # of dirt. My preference would be to plant the tree in that next to our hot tub. But if it won't last in MO winters, I will find a spot in the ground. Advice?
Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar
It would definitely do better in the ground. The tree might last a few years in the pot but nothing like in the ground. Perhaps you could find a spot near the hot tub for the tree?
