This plant might belong to the lily family--
from the 10" long, narrow, smooth, pointed
mid-green leaves, I assume it's a monocot.
My friend called it Palm Bells when she
gave it to me, but I found nothing useful from
search engines. The flowering apparatus is
a long bright pink stalk, with two 2-1/2" pink,
pointed leafy stemless offshoots, and below
the 2nd one, delicate, long, pointed "bells"
(not bell-shaped) dangle on very thin stems.
The "bells" are about 3/8" wide, an inch long,
colored red and green, and there is a bright
yellow patch at the bottom of one, that I
assume are anthers. I think there are 6 "bells."
(Sorry, my camera quit.) Any suggestions?
