I have a gorgeous purple and red firecracker plant that I planted 2 years ago in the front of my perennial bed because it wasn't supposed to get over a foot high and wide here. It just loves where it is and must think it's in Costa Rica because it becomes a small shrub by August. I need to move it to the back of the bed, but I forgot to transplant in December when everything finally went dormant. We had our last cold snap last week and things are leafing out, but firecracker's still looking dormant. Think it's safe to move it or should I wait until this coming December?
