the Pinewood nematode (PWN), Bursaphelenchus xylophilis is a deadly nemadote which causes pine wilt. Do we have it in Australia. I have pine trees with increasing patches of brown and some of the neighbours trees are showing the same symptoms. This disease issupposed to be fatal for pines and spreads quickly to nearby trees. Can someone tell me if they know if we have it in Australia and if there is something that can be done to save the trees.
