I purchased a Dischidia ovata on ebay and when I got it, it looked fine but now after several days, the leaves are turning translucent. I have since repotted it and I am keeping it in the kitchen in indirect sunlight and warm. Any ideas how I can save this vine?
Dischidia ovata very stressed & possibly on it's last stem
Given the weather this winter, it could have gotten too cold during shipping and might not recover. This Dischidia needs lots of light and good drainage. Try not to over-water it.
Thanks so much. It would probably have done better wrapped in bubble wrap or with a heat pack. Do you want me to let it get bone dry or when itgets dry, just water it a little?
Difficult to say. Do you have a photo? Good drainage is a key and moderate watering. I wouldn't let it get bone dry.
