I am planning on replacing a patch of grass approx. 15ft X 10ft between two driveways that is infested by mostly weeds, then putting down sod as a replacement. Before I dig it out I am going to apply both Lawn Weed & Crabgrass killer, plus Preemergence Herbicide to kill as much as I can before dig. First question. In what order if any should they be applied, and how long to wait between each one. Second question. Between a sprayed on Preemergence Herbicide or a dry Corn Gluten watered in, which would work best.
Preemergance Herbicide spray or Corn Gluten watered in.
Bud1 you want to put down the weed & crabgrass killer first. Then put down the pre-emergence herbicide to keep new weeds from growing.
I don't know anything about using corn gluten.
