I've just planted lots of crocuses (9 Feb14). I live in southern maryland. However, I had them for a while (2 months) before I finally planted them. They've sprouted, but the sprouts are now tan in color, but the bulbs themselves still feel firm and are about the same size and maby just a tad smaller. I've planted them in the house (9 Feb 14) and watered them. Do you think they will still sprout and flower? Please advise. Thanks bunches.
Crocus sprouting
Sorry for the late answer. I think they will be fine. Maybe the sprouts were tan due to lack of light..Give them light when the leaves appear, a cool windowsill is fine for these guys. Good luck!
