Jacaranda blooming..in Sept?

Tampa, FL(Zone 10a)

I know, i know..you think I'm probably crazy. But, if anyone is in or around Clearwater and passes by Drew and Highland St there is a large Jacaranda blooming again. Its the only one i've seen doing so, and I had to do a double take, but sure enough! Has anyone ever seen one bloom off season like that before? It's nice to see, albeit odd!

I have not driven that way recently.

Speaking of plants blooming out of season; I have a Japanese Magnolia that is currently blooming and i usually don't see blooms on that until later in winter, December/January.

I'm now seeing this but I do remember last year the jacarandas in Tampa metro area were blooming in early September. There are some older ones around my area with some blooms now too. I can't wait for mine to mature enough to bloom, but it's only about 6ft and starting to branch...so it'll be a long wait.

I get a mixed up Plum tree, had only 2 blooms this spring and now it has blooms right now. Not many but a few keep popping out
