We have had worse hail storms but this one really damaged my pumpkins and squash
Hail
Sad isn't it? My butternut squash have few leaves left. They are shredded. A few of the fruits are still growing though. How are yours doing?
I'm watching the growth tips - they may still make it.
I put hail screen over the tomatoes when I set up the cages, but I never got around to putting screen any where else.
I am considering getting some permanent hoops for the garden so I can put up frost blanket, insect barrier, shade cloth, or hail screen - and put it up quick & easy.
Lets face it, in Colorado hail isn't just possible, it is inevitable.
