I used to love Shady Oakes but the owners retired some years ago. While I saw one highly rated shade nursery under the Products and Sources tab, it was all hostas. I like hostas and have several but I want some perennials that bloom nicely too.
What's your favorite?
Best shade nursery with mail order
Many of my favorite sources for shade-tolerant plants are general nurseries,
which offer both sun- & shade-tolerant plants.
But of the nurseries which specialize in shade, I like Munchkin, Keeping It Green, Wild Ginger, Hoot Owl nurseries. I'm sure there are many others.
Far Reaches Farm has heathy, well-packed and interesting shade plants (and an amazing demonstration garden if you're ever in Pt Townsend, WA).
Thanks for the help. I will check these out. If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know.........
